Ok, so after my best friend Lindsay got engaged, I started a project for her and I to enjoy. Its a fanfic based on the two of us, and its about Harry Potter.
Yeah, we’re that awesome.
But its basically characters (I know I know; but they’re not terrible Mary-Sues I promise), based on us going to school at the same time as Harry; they’re the twin daughters of Sirus Black. They’re named after the heroines of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream; and it feels fitting (besides purebloods always give their kids weird names).
Hellena is based on my BFF; shes in Hufflepuff, and more studious out of the two of them (but she’s not an attention seeker, so she likes the house she’s in). She’s also sweet, shy, and very curious. She tries to be her sister’s voice of reason (which its very hard to be) but can get carried away with her own short temper. Her specialty is Care of Magic Creatures, and somehow can sense animal’s feelings and controls them (a secret taught to her by Hagrid). Her godmother is Andromeda Tonks (their mother was best friends with her and Narcissa Malfoy) and she admires her older cousin Nymphadora for being in Hufflepuff too. In her seven years, she learns be a braver person and grows into a powerful witch.
Hermia is based on myself; a hot-tempered Gryffindor with a knack for getting into trouble. She’s very much a scraper in her early years, feeling the constant need to defend her father and sister. But more often than not she caring towards her friends and feels a great sense of justice; making her a protector. She is a budding Seer; with visionary powers that have affected her since she was a child, how ever she prefers that it not control her. Narcissa Malfoy was made her godmother, and she develops a close bond with her. She also happens to love Quidditch. She also becomes a stronger person, but more tame as well.
I’m literally doing all seven years of their time at Hogwarts; from the first train ride to the aftermath of the Great Battle. I also included Lindsay’s fiance Ryan as a Slytherin… I’ll be after Oliver Wood (don’t you judge me!)
